Peace And Security Program

The South is the region most tied to, and most impacted by, war and U.S. foreign policy. The Institute’s Peace and Security Program brings new voices into the foreign policy debate; builds the capacity of grassroots constituencies seeking to work on international issues; and engages in policy advocacy to promote cooperative global engagement.

In 2006-2007, the Peace and Security Program is examining Southern attitudes towards foreign policy, and ways to promote an agenda for constructive global engagement in the region.
