Put me in coach!

Posted by R. Neal

Here's an interesting report from Think Progress on Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) coaching Alito at the White House. Which is sort of odd, given Graham's Congressional oversight role and all that "advice and consent" stuff regarding judicial nominees. Whatever happened to the three branches of government? Steve at Whites Creek Journal has some thoughts.

There are only two branches of government now: Republican and Democrat. Checks and balances means that any criticism of one party can be balanced by criticizing the other. Checks must be declared in monthly campaign disclosure forms.
