More on the Lynching Apology

See The Carpetbagger Report on the anti-lynching resolution’s chief Republican sponsor, George Allen (R-VA), who “started his career by keeping a Confederate flag and a noose in his law office.” He has also called the NAACP an “extremist group” and, as governor of Virginia, issued a Confederate History Month proclamation that didn’t mention slavery.

UPDATE 12:06 PM: See Pam's House Blend for horrific images of lynching (in case you don’t know what all this is about) and also some charming Actual Freeper Quotes (I’m not sure which is more disturbing, the photos or the quotes).
